we did it! finally, the day came and went. the day we presented our idea at Joven y Efímero in the cultural center. here are the pics.

working, that´s for sure. i also bought myself a netbook, very happy with it. organized a bit more my life, pushing it harder, better, faster. the Takó Sushi campaign seems to be going very well, we triplicated the number of visits to their web page, the place is working very well, people going to enjoy their prices, dining out, when i´m there i ask them and they say their happy with it, i took a couple of pictures of them last night.

all happy is a good state, makes me happy too. i´m already working on the next action :). lot´s of projects floating around, the TWITTNITES are coming back on the 6th, so´s Twestival in september and i may be travelling to the states on january for a digicourse or something, in august we´re presenting a video art instalation at a local cultural center con María Lange, so that´s cool too. i´m also working on a health clinics digital comms, a purse company, some turism copywriting, participating on a municipal creative council, oh and i´m working on my site, which i´m drawing by hand btw. i´m training for a soccer tournament, doing the digital posgraduate program, building some new structures with twitter friends and looking forward to an exciting future, i just want to do fun but meaningful stuff. to end this rant, i like this Tweet you Senator. oh, and this band with this tune, loved it.

trabajando, eso seguro. también me compre una netbook, muy contento con ella. organicé un poco más mi vida, empujando más fuerte, mejor, más rápido. la campaña de Takó Sushi parece estar funcionando muy bien, triplicamos la cantidad de visitas a su página, el lugar está trabajando muy bien, la gente está yendo a disfrutar sus premios, saliendo a comer, cuando estoy ahí les pregunto y me cuentan que están contentos con ella, les saqué un par de fotos anoche.

todos contentos es un buen estado en el que estar, me poné contento a mi también. ya estoy trabajando en la próxima acción :). hay mucho proyectos dando vueltas, las TWITTNITES vuelven el 6, tasmbién Twestival en septiembre y quizás esté viajando a EEUU en enero a hacer algún curso digital o algo, en agosto vamos a estar presentando unos videos en una instalación artística en el Centro Cultural Parque España con María Lange así que eso está bueno también. también estoy trabajando en la comunicación digital de un sanatorio, una empresa de carteras, un poco de redacción para turismo, participando en un concejo creativo para la municipalidad, ah y estoy trabajando en mi sitio propio, que lo estoy dibujando a mano btw. estoy entrenando para un torneo de fútbol, haciendo el posgrado de comunicación digital, armando algunas estructuras nuevas con amigos twitteros y con ganas de encarar un futuro excitante, sólo quiero hacer cosas divertidas pero significativas. y para terminar el palabrerío, me gustó esto de Tweet your Senator. y esta banda con este tema, encantador.

i´ve been blue. down. cranky. it´s not the monday, it´s me. but today, i felt better. i´m starting a couple of new projects. one video, artistic. the other, online. carrying on with everything else.

Mr. Colman is planning on planning. live updates. don´t miss it.

So the APG deadline is tomorrow. 12 noon. Just over 24 hours away. And planners in agencies all over the country (well London and Manchester well, London) have been beavering away for weeks, possibly even months, making their papers smart and beautiful.

We start today. And not because confidence is high (its not) but because ours workloads have dictated it.

But heres a thing. The core insight in our (yet not written) paper is that its often when the pressure is highest and the risk greatest that the biggest rewards can be achieved, and its plannings job to manage and maximise these opportunities.

(Dramatic pause.)

Which begs the question: is whats true of planning also true of writing APG papers?

Theres only one way to find out.

So with only slightly over 24hours to go how do increase the pressure, create greater risk, but more importantly maximize the opportunity?

Well - by streaming the entire writing process on the internet, of course.

So, thats what were going to try and do. Write it live. In a single day.

Were sure theyll be some technical difficulties along the way, but pop by and say hello, or just observe two planners in a room at, wait for it, www.twoplannersinaroom.com . If we get around to it therell also be a twitter stream too.

Barley? Probably. Effective? Lets see what happens.

Sr. Colman está planning sobre planning. actualizaciones en vivo. no se lo pierdan:

La entrega del APG es mñana. 12 del mediodía. Faltan 24 horas. Y los planners de todas las agencias del país (bueno, de Londres y Manchester bueno, Londres) estuvieron metiendoles duro desde hace semanas, posiblemente semanas, haciendo que sus entregas sean intelegientes y bellas.

Nosotros empezamos hoy. Y no por la confianza es alta (no lo es), pero porque nuestra carga laboral así lo ha dictado.

Pero esta es la cosa. El insight clave en nuestro (todavía no escrito) trabajo es que muchas veces cuando la presión es mucha y el riesgo es más grande que se logran las más grandes recompensas, y es el trabajo de un planner manejar y maximizar estas oportunidades.

(Pausa dramática)

Lo que obliga la pregunta: ¿lo que es verdad del planning es también verdad de los trabajos APG?

Hay sólo una manera de saberlo.

Con sólo casi 24 horas, ¿cómo incrementamos la presión, creamos mayor riesgo, pero más importante maximizar la oportunidad?

Bueno - haciendo un stream de todo el proceso de escritura en la internet, por supuesto.

Así que, eso es lo que vamos a intentar hacer. Escribirlo en vivo.
